On Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003 I drove 2 1/2 hours to City Cut to have Thermal Reconditioning by Alan. Prior to my appointment, I had extensively researched the process. No matter how many "before and after" photos I saw, I still wasn't convinced that my hair could be made straight. You see, I was always one of those people stylist described as having "uncooperative" hair. My hair had a fabulous way of always ending up exactly the same no matter what I did with it. I called it the "terrible triangle", because it would be flat on top and gradually expand out into a mass of frizz at the bottom. Usually after hours of blow drying and straight ironing, I would simply give up and pull it back in a ponytail. So I was a bit of a skeptic going in to my appointment for thermal reconditioning.

I may have went in a skeptic, but 8 hours later, I came out a believer. My hair was so unbelievably straight for the first time in my life. But it wasn't just straight, it was also smooth and shiny. My hair was like the hair you see on shampoo commercials.

Two days later and after the "shampoo test", my hair is still perfect. I am ecstatic to say that my ponytail days are over. I actually believe people when they say that my hair is beautiful. It is so shiny, smooth, and most importantly, straight as a board. I have my dream hair, that is, minus a few inches.

Thanks to a friend who suggested your salon I had my hair straighten Aug 5, 2003. Three months later it is still just as straight. I just love my hair and I have had so many compliments about my hair.

Being black made me kinda skeptical, but it is just as smooth and shiny as ever. I can't thank you enough.

Alan--

Just wanted to thank you for the great experience I had at your salon last weekend!  I was initially very nervous about driving all the way from Wisconsin for my thermal reconditioning, but I am thrilled with the results!  My hair feels silky and is pin-straight.  I even let it air-dry today, and it looks amazing, no flat-iron required!  Thanks again for a great experience; it was worth every penny, and I'll definitely be returning for my retouch!
